Bert's second generation transmission, by his revolutionary design, is the lowest rotating weight gear box available. The mechanism of the first and reverse are totally disengaged from the rotation when in direct drive (high gear), so no wear on those parts. Reducing rotating weight creates more power to the rear wheels that is greatly felt by the driver. Crate motor and limited engines are the ones who are getting the most benefit from this transmission, either on dirt or pavement. Dont deprive your race team from more performance go with the Bert Second Generation Transmission.
